SBA Data Navigator Setup
The SBA Data Navigator Setup
(DNSetup) program needs to be used only on the computer where
the Microsoft Office Small Business
Accounting 2006 database or the Microsoft
Office Accounting 2007 database has been created and
resides. Typically DNSetup is launched once after
Microsoft Office Small Business Accounting
2006 or Microsoft Office Accounting 2007 have
been installed and for which a company and users
have been configured. DNSetup updates the
database with important parameters and meta
data necessary for Data Navigator to access
and create OLAP formatted data.
Running DNSetup does not change
or influence any data stored by the
Microsoft Office Accounting system.
Microsoft Office Accounting system data is accessed, but never modified
or changed.
The only other time
the SBA Data Navigator Setup program will need
to be launched is after a company has
been added / deleted for Microsoft Office
Small Business Accounting 2006 or Microsoft
Office Accounting 2007; or new /
existing user roles have been changed.
